Return Policy
At Taxonomy, we do our best to ensure everything that leaves the shop meets our standards. Because many of our items are unique, handmade, or one-of-a-kind, our return policy is a bit specific.
In-Store Purchases
House Plants
House plants will be considered for a refund on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase when accompanied by a receipt.
Non-House Plant Goods
Non-house plant goods can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of purchase when accompanied by a receipt.
Returns must be in their original state and packaging as when originally purchased.
Online Orders & Shipping
All Sales Final on Handmade & One-of-a-Kind Items
Due to the nature of handmade and one-of-a-kind pieces, these items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Shipping & Delivery
Once an order has been shipped, Taxonomy is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier.
If tracking shows that a package has been delivered, it is considered a completed order. Taxonomy is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after delivery.
We recommend checking with neighbors, household members, or your local carrier if a package cannot be located.
Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of:
- The item
- The packaging
- The shipping label
We will work with you to resolve the issue.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Taxonomy is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout. Please double check your shipping details before placing your order.
